2026 Applications Now Open

Applications are now open for the 2026 Tasmanian Legal Practice Course (TLPC).

The Tasmanian Legal Practice Course is the only Practical Legal Training course in Australia where trainee lawyers learn and practice in real Courts with real Judges, real Magistrates and real lawyers!

TLPC values workshop style teaching with an emphasis on face to face, on campus instruction. Trainee lawyers complete transactions, tasks and exercises in a simulated office environment taught by contemporary legal practitioners from within the private profession.

The 2026 Course will commence on 30 January 2026 for 24 weeks. Successful graduates can expect to be admitted together as legal practitioners in August 2026 at a special ceremonial sitting of the Supreme Court of Tasmania.
